How would you like to spend the summer in the Sawtooth Mountains of Idaho, working and living in an area of unsurpassed beauty and serenity?
You can! Sawtooth United Methodist Camp is looking for a few energetic, people loving, fun loving, hard working folks to join our small team and help run the camp this summer.
Sawtooth Camp is 120 acres located at the end of a high mountain valley surrounded by National Forest. The South Fork of the Boise River, near its source, runs through the camp, cool, clear, and clean.
You get a salary, and room and board (that’s a place to hang your hat and grub). Every morning you’ll wake up to the beauty of the mountains and fresh, crisp air. It will look and feel much different than the town or city you’re from. You can leave the stresses of everyday living behind.
You’ll be part of a team that keeps the camp running and at the same time contributes to a quality environment of Christian hospitality. We’re the background team that helps those coming to the camp have an experience they don’t want to forget.
The work varies from day to day based on camp needs: it won’t be boring. You will receive training, learn teamwork, learn skills and learn a lot about how a camp operates. It’s kind of like an outdoor hotel. And you’ll probably start some new lifetime friendships.
You’ll have time to enjoy the camp and surrounding area on your own – camping, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, or just relaxing.
Please email Mike Pletcher, site director, at sawtoothumcamp@gmail.com to apply. Ages 18+.
You will also need to on-line Information and Disclosure Form and Background Check.
