Part-time Seasonal Kitchen Staff (Paid)

Camp Magruder is seeking the following full and part time seasonal kitchen staff. Employment is from March to mid-November. 

Kitchen Utility Staff (Dishwasher): willing to do dishes, assist with basic food preparation and be an all-around helper with setting up the dining room and after-meal cleaning tasks.

The Kitchen Associate: supports the goals and efforts of the Executive Chef and the Assistant Lead Cook with meal preparation and delivery.

Assistant Lead Cook: manages a specific shift during the kitchen workday. The Assistant Lead Cook supports the goals and efforts of the Executive Chef, with the support of the kitchen associate.

We offer flexible scheduling with positions available for either daytime (6 AM to 2 PM) or evenings (2 PM to 8 PM) weekdays and weekends. Meals are included. An Oregon Food Handlers License is required, but fees can be covered.

Magruder kitchen staff provide meals for children, youth, and non-profit organizations doing good in the world. We seek to make friends, change lives, and offer a safe restful place. Staffers learn food skills that can be applied far beyond the camp kitchen and meet lots of incredible, interesting people. Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience
