Resident Counselor Applications have just opened for summer 2019! Resident Counselors are paid traveling summer camp counselors hired by the United Methodist Camping Ministries in Oregon and Idaho to serve three of the camps in this conference. From the serene mountain and lake views of Suttle Lake Camp to the rushing waterfall at Camp Latgawa out to the beautiful Oregon Coast at Camp Magruder, Resident Counselors (RCs) have the opportunity to lead campers as role models, spiritual guides, and friends. This work provides an environment that is as meaningful as it is fun in three beautiful locations.
Applications can be returned as soon as they’re finished, and an interview date will be set individually shortly after applications are returned. RCs will be hired continuously throughout the year until the position is filled. Typically, eight RCs are hired per season.
To apply for this position, return an application and have two references submit reference forms. (The application and reference forms are fillable forms that should be filled out and returned digitally. Please contact Hope at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.) You are responsible for sending your references the forms and seeing that they are returned in a timely manner. Interviews will not be scheduled until all reference forms have been returned.
