Suttle Lake chef, Abel Salas has been working at the camp since 2014, offering his creativity, hard work, skill, and great food! He attended his first Camp and Retreat Ministries national gathering, Waters of Grace, this past January with 14 others from Oregon-Idaho, and offered these words on his experience:
"The event was enlightening because the workshops were extremely helpful, the fellowship was priceless and the feeling of being part of something so big and meaningful was wonderful. The overall experience has changed my approach to the food service ministry experience at camp. And I am refocused on the immense impressions that I can create through my gifts and the unique empowerment I have received from attending this event."
